Conditions we treat

Twelve of the patterns we see most often in Richmond, from headaches to post-surgical recovery. Pick what sounds like yours, or read on for how to choose if nothing quite fits.

Twelve starting points

Find what sounds like yours

Each of these covers a group of things patients ask about most. If more than one applies, that's normal — the assessment sorts out which is driving the others.

Not sure which one fits

You don't need to self-diagnose before you book

Most people who call us aren't sure whether they need massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic or acupuncture — and they don't need to be. Every visit starts with an assessment, and if the discipline you booked isn't the best fit, your practitioner moves you across in-house rather than sending you back to square one.

A few starting points

  • Pain that's been building for weeks — start with physiotherapy or chiropractic for a movement assessment
  • Muscle tightness, tension or a specific sore spot — start with massage therapy
  • Recent injury or accident — start wherever you like; ICBC and extended health cover most disciplines
  • Still unsure — call the clinic and reception will point you in the right direction
