arc therapy runs on a small number of positions we hold to every day, in every session. They're the reason the clinic is built the way it is.
Why it started this way
arc therapy opened in Blundell Plaza in 2025 as a multidisciplinary clinic: massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, kinesiology and the rest, sharing one assessment instead of running as separate practices under one lease. The clinic now runs 19 practitioners across eight disciplines under one roof.
The four positions below aren't marketing lines — they're the actual constraints the clinic is built to.
A shoulder that won't settle is often a neck and thoracic problem. A headache that won't lift is often a jaw problem. Treating only the part that hurts buys a few good days, and then the same complaint comes back — the source was never addressed.
So the first visit looks wider than the complaint. Before any hands-on treatment, we look at how the whole body moves, which is usually where the actual cause shows up. For a patient, that means the plan targets what's driving the pain, not just where it's felt today.
No double-booked rooms and no handoff to someone else partway through. Whoever you're booked with stays with you from the first minute to the last.
For a patient, that means the session stays focused. Your practitioner isn't splitting attention across two rooms, and you leave with two or three home movements that actually came from watching how you specifically move — not a generic handout.
Your file doesn't reset every time you see a different practitioner. If your RMT finds a loading problem that needs graded exercise, they hand you to physiotherapy with the findings already written down. If your physiotherapist finds a jaw contribution to your headaches, the RMT who does intra-oral work is twenty feet away.
For a patient, that means no separate check-in, no separate history form, no repeating yourself. One assessment travels with you across every discipline in the clinic.
Care plans are built against a target, not left open-ended. Progress gets checked against what the first assessment found, and once the source problem is stable, we say so.
For a patient, that means you know what you're working toward. A plan tells you roughly what progress should look like and when to expect it — not an indefinite stream of add-on visits with no discharge point in sight.
Eight disciplines, one roof
All practitioners are registered with the CCHPBC. The clinic holds a 5.0 rating from 150 Google reviews.
A naturopath is also on the roster for patients whose care plan calls for it — ask your practitioner whether a referral to another discipline makes sense for you.
The space
arc therapy sits on the ground floor of Blundell Plaza, two minutes off No. 2 Road, with more than 400 free parking stalls right at the door. There's no elevator to navigate — you walk in from the lot straight into the clinic.
Inside, treatment rooms for every discipline open onto the same central space, which is what makes the handoffs described above possible in the first place. We're open seven days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, serving Blundell, Broadmoor and Steveston. 135-6020 Blundell Rd, Richmond, BC V7C 1H8 — (604) 285-9922.
Book with any practitioner and, if another discipline suits your problem better, we can move you across without starting over.
